May 2024 — Writer-Director Hollis Sherman-Pepe has wrapped principal photography on her debut feature, the cerebral indie horror film, Tenants of Carver Hill. The film, co-produced by Scott Fleisher and Jean Louise O'Sullivan, promises to deliver a fresh take on psychological horror, intertwined with the eerie history of a Historic Pennsylvania Homestead.

“Right Hand Man”

- Screenplay (AVAILABLE TO OPTION)

GENRE: LGBTQ heartwarming adventure drama.

LOG: A Latinx mother and son road trip. Little Frances learns to let his rainbow wings soar while his scrappy young mother becomes the woman and mother she was always meant to be.

DIRECTOR’S NOTE

Inspired by a sweet and colorful non-binary child and their pursuit to educate others about acceptance and self-expression, I wanted to dive into this world and explore from a child's eyes. This escape motivated adventure takes a once afflicted relationship between an inept young mother and a repressed child and allows them to develop and grow together. My hope is to widely share Frances' message, not to ever let anyone "dim your sparkle."

“TO QUIET MY MIND

GENRE: Experimental

LOG: One man searches for meaning after the death of his wife, a war photojournalist. Painting to quiet the demons of the mind.

DIRECTOR’S NOTE: When reflecting on cherished and sometimes heartbreaking events in our lives as well as our loved ones that have passed on, we relay on our humanly-imperfect memories. We fill in the gaps with our imagination. The scenes we create in our brains keep those important moments alive, regardless of true accuracy. In this film I look at the importance of our memories. Using our reflections like bandaids to cover the dark spots and as halos to lift up the greatest good.

Best Picture winner, Two wins Best Visual Effects, Best Experimental film,  Best Score.   7 Official Selections.
